The advantages and disadvantages of medium-low-low temperature shift process,total low temperature shift process and isothermal shift conversion process are analyzed,and the role of saturation hot water tower in shift conversion unit is discussed.Based on renovation examples of shift conversion processes,comparison is done with isothermal shift conversion process and total low temperature shift process in terms of process flow sheet,steam consumption,renovation investment and operation.
