蓝屋顶矿区位于广东省连平县东北九连镇，紧邻重要的多金属矿锯板坑矿区，即南岭成矿带中的瑶岭—石人嶂—梅子窝—大吉山—锯板坑钨矿带的东端，该钨矿带是南岭地区最为重要的成矿带之一，以大量出现“五层楼”式脉状钨矿床为特色。成矿预测勘查和化学异常调查表明，蓝屋顶矿区与锯板坑矿区的多金属矿化类型和脉石矿物组合类似，可能具有“五层楼”模式。
람옥정광구위우광동성련평현동북구련진，긴린중요적다금속광거판갱광구，즉남령성광대중적요령—석인장—매자와—대길산—거판갱오광대적동단，해오광대시남령지구최위중요적성광대지일，이대량출현“오층루”식맥상오광상위특색。성광예측감사화화학이상조사표명，람옥정광구여거판갱광구적다금속광화류형화맥석광물조합유사，가능구유“오층루”모식。
The Lanwuding mining area is situated in Jiulian town,Lianping county of Guandong Province.It is adjacent to the large polymetallic ore of Jubangkeng,which is in the nortern of Yaolin-Shirenzhang-Meiziwo-Dajishan-Jubangkeng tungsten mineralization zone of Nanling multi-metallic mineralized belt.The tungsten mineralization belt is an important metallogenic belt of the Naling area,which is characterized as a wealth of vein-type tungsten deposits with five leveling zoning feature.The metallogenic prognosis exploration and geochemical anomaly investigation indicate that Lanwuding has the similar multi-metallic mineralization type and gangue mineral assemblages with Jubangkeng,which could be the five level zoning metallogenic model.
