北沟金矿床产于三道沟组地层中，具有明显的层控特征；北沟金矿区中各种张裂隙、层间裂隙、糜棱岩化带、接触带构造控制了矿体的产出位置和产状；控矿侵入岩具有多期活化的特点，24-25亿年的区域变质作用和16-18亿年钾质花岗岩浆的重熔作用使矿源层中的金随着变质热液活化、转移，华力西晚期的岩浆活动，使金进一步富集成矿。通过对北沟金矿地质特征的总结，结合区域上和本矿区的控矿因素研究，北沟矿区深部仍具有较大的找矿潜力。

Beigou Gold deposit occurs in the three trench formation , with obvious stratabound characteristics .The orebody is controlled by various tensile crack , crack in layer , mylonitized contact zone tectonic belt of Beigou gold mine on the posi-tion and occurrence .The ore controlling intrusive rocks have the characteristics of multi stage activated regional metamor -phism.With 2.4~2.5 billion years of regional metamorphism and 1.6~1.8 billion years of anatexis of potassic granite mag-ma, that ore source layer of gold was activated and transferred , and late Hercynian magmatic activity formed the gold en-richment mineralization .By analyzing the geological characteristics , combined with regional and ore controlling factors in this area of research , it is concluded that deep North Ditch mine still has great potential for the prospecting .
