高校安全教育工作是大学生思想政治教育的重要组成部分。当前高校安全教育存在以下不足和挑战：高校安全规章制度对学生缺乏制约作用；学生缺乏日常安全意识；高校扩招为学生安全教育带来新的挑战、大学生处理人际关系能力亟待提高。因此高校安全教育要创造良好的校园环境、设立严格的安全管理制度、加强安全意识教育和安全课程演练，形成安全教育的创新机制。

The safety education in colleges and universities is an important part of ideological and political education for college students. Nowadays, the safety education in Chinese colleges and universities confronts the following shortcomings and challenges. Firstly, the safety rules and regulations of colleges and universities could not restrain the college students successfully. Secondly, college students lack the safety awareness in daily life. Thirdly, university enrollment expansion brings new challenges for the safety education. Therefore, the ability that students deal with their personal and social relationship needs urgently to be improved. In order to improve the colleges and universities safety education, it is necessary to provide a good environment for the students, establish strict safety management system and reinforce safety awareness education and the practice of safe courses.
