Promoting community education and lifelong learning is one of the three key functions in new-period vocational college. Community college is a main carrier of community education and lifelong learning. Under the new development phase of Beijing vocational education, exploring to establish community college in vocational college will become a new normal. Based on the national demonstration school of Beijing College of Finance and Com-merce, establishing a model of“Capital-Finance and Commerce”in Tongzhou community college is theoretical-ly feasible and operational in practice, which will inject new vitality to the development of capital vocational edu-cation, and will enrich and improve the education territory and layout of Tongzhou district as the sub-center of Beijing.
