本文研究线性时不变、单输入多输出系统的最优跟踪性能问题。本文以系统输入与输出均方误差的2-范数作为系统的跟踪性能指标。考虑单输入多输出系统在信号跟踪上的局限性，假设在双自由度补偿器结构下，参考输入为单位阶跃信号，且反馈通道中存在信道噪音的影响并考虑此噪音为单位脉冲信号的情况下，研究其最优跟踪性能问题。研究结果表明此类系统的跟踪性能极限完全由被控对象的结构特征以及输入信号，信道噪音的特征共同决定。其中结构特征指被控对象的非最小相位零点和不稳定极点的位置。

This paper studies optimal tracking performance in linear time invariant single-input-multiple output systems (SIMOs). An integral square error criterion is used as for tracking performance index. Due to the limitations of SIMOs in tracking signal, the reference input under consideration is a step signal and there exists impulsive disturbance in feedback channel, two degree of freedom controller was adopted to control the system. The eventually result shows that the optimal tracking performance in these kinds of systems depend on the structure of plant and statistic characteristics of reference input.
