通过中外电力工程勘测标准比较研究，可以让我们深入地了解国内外电力工程勘测标准的差异，不但能帮助国内电力勘测设计企业走向国际市场，规避风险，还对推广国内电力工程勘测标准在国际工程中的应用具有重要意义，同时对学习国外先进标准提高国内标准制定水平具有重要意义。本文就中外电力工程勘测标准比较研究的目的意义、工作程序、内容范围和结果进行了阐述，并通过中国与美国地形图测量标准部分内容的比较，说明了不同标准的差异性。

Through comparative study of Chinese and foreign electric power engineering survey standards, in-depth understanding of the differences between foreign and domestic electric power engineering survey standard can be achieved, which will not only help domestic survey and design enterprises set foot on the international market and avoid risks, but also play a critical role in applying domestic engineering survey standards in international engineering projects. This comparative study involves learning foreign advanced engineering standards which will enhance the approaches of setting domestic standards. In this paper, the purpose of the comparative study of Chinese and foreign electric power engineering survey standards, the working procedures, the content range and the study results are demonstrated in detail. The differences between standards are illustrated by comparing parts of the contents of Chinese and American topographic map survey standards.
