课程衔接是中高职教育衔接的重要环节，影响课程衔接的因素包括教学内容、课程设置、教学过程、教学方法、评价制度等方面。中高职公共英语课程衔接问题主要表现为课程设置不合理、教学内容重复、课程评价方法缺乏有效衔接。优化中高职公共英语课程衔接途径有：优化课程设置的结构；合理选择教学内容，避免重复；突出职业能力，改革中高职英语课程考核评价体系，从而最大程度地实现中高职公共英语课程的过渡和衔接。

Cohesion is an important factor in process of Vocational College education .It includes the teaching content,cur-riculum setting,teaching process,teaching methods,assessment system etc..In the Higher Vocational Public English,courses are mainly unreasonable and duplication of teaching content,which make the lack of effective convergence.The way of making Higher Vocational Public English course connection is:optimizing the structure of curriculum;selecting of teaching contents and avoiding duplication;enhancing vocational ability;improving reform of evaluation system in vocational college English Curricu-lum Examination.By this way,we can maximize the realization of transition and connection of Higher Vocational Public English courses.
