The explosion-proof work is the primary requirement for all kind of equipment in the explosive environment. Based on the concepts of the explosion-proof standards, explosive environment and so on, the paper introduces the standards about explosion-proof such as GB 3836 and GB 25286. The potential ignition sources such as the mechanical spark, thermal surface, static electricity and spontaneous combustion are analyzed. The explosion-proof technical ways of non-electrical equipment are combed including controlling ignition source, implementation of structural safety, limiting shell or flameproof enclosure, inherent safety and positive pressure, the liquid immersion or cover.
