Forms of occurrence of S/N and mineral in coal were introduced, and forms of precipitation of S/N during the coal pyrolysis were expressed as well as the research progress of interaction between mineral and S/N. It was also pointed out that research on the mechanism of the interaction between mineral and S/N should be strengthened in order to promote the clean utilization of coal and reduce environmental pollution.
