插值是图像处理中的基本问题,现有的插值算法无法对具有复杂结构和丰富纹理的图像进行准确有效插值。对图像进行四叉树分形编码,确定相应的最优线性变换参数,建立具有相似关系的“子块‐父块对”;根据块之间的相似关系与图像分辨率无关的特点,以超分辨率分形解码的方式对吸引子进行重建,进而得到插值图像;对分形编码的拼贴误差进行双立方插值,并以此作为补偿项对插值图像进行修正,进一步提高插值精度。标准测试图像的实验结果表明:与经典算法相比,分形插值能够对图像的结构细节实现准确有效的恢复,不会造成边缘模糊和锯齿效应,具有较高的插值精度和图像质量。

Interpolation is a fundamental problem in image processing ,and it is difficult for previous interpolation algorithms to process images with a complex structure and rich texture accurately and efficiently .The quad‐tree fractal coding was proposed for images ,where the corresponding optimal linear transformation parameters were determined ,and the “child‐parent” block pairs with similar relation were established ;considering that the similarity between blocks was irrelevant to the image resolution ,attractor reconstruction was done with super‐resolution fractal decoding , to obtain the interpolated image ; bi‐cubic interpolation was applied to the collage error of fractal coding , which was used as the compensation term to rectify interpolated images , and further improve the interpolation accuracy .Experimental results on benchmark test images showed that ,compared with the classical algorithms ,fractal interpolation could effectively recover the structural details of images ,without blurred edges and jagged effect ,and as a result high interpolation accuracy and image quality w ere achieved .
