The thesis takes Mianyang area as an example in the north of Longmen mountain fault region, and introduces the steps in detail, the entire process of the modeling is clear, organized and reasonable. The 3D model of the study area is tally with the practical geologic body in the spatial distribution and dynamic characteristic. It reveals the extension and distribution of the underground horizon, fault in MianYang, and the exposed on the surface, which promotes the further research of the 3D Geosciences Modeling in the future.
