目的:评估广东学龄儿童FTO rs 9939609基因位点与儿童肥胖关联风险。方法:采用回顾性病例对照研究,纳入290名肥胖儿童,300名正常BMI儿童,体格检查得出儿童的身高、体重、腰围等数据。Taqman荧光探针法测定FTO rs 9939609基因位点多态性,t检验检测连续型变量,logistic回归分析检查FTO rs 9939609基因位点与肥胖发病风险。结果:肥胖组儿童在体重、身高、腰围及BMI等方面与正常组均有显著差异(P<0.001)。logistic回归分析显示,携带AA基因位点的儿童有肥胖的风险是正常组的4.63倍(95%CI=1.29-16.62)。t检验结果显示,等位基因A携带者在体重、BMI、腰围值均比T位点携带者高(P<0.05)。结论 FTO rs9939609基因位点多态性显著影响广东地区儿童的肥胖发病风险。

Objective To explore the relationship between FTO rs9939609 and obesity related characteristics among school children in Guangdong. Methods The association of FTO rs9939609 variants with obesity and related anthropometric traits in 290 obese children and 300 normal-weight children was examined. Student’s t test was introduced to examine continuous variables, logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the FTO rs9939609 locus and obesity risk. Results Children with obesity had significantly higher body weight, waist circumference, body mass index (BMI) than those children with normal weight (all P<0.001).Logistic regression analysis showed that AA carriers had the higher risk of obesity than that with TA+TT group (OR=4.63, 95%CI=1.29-16.62).The risk A allele of rs9939609 was significantly associated with higher values of weight, BMI, waist circumference (all P<0.05). Conclusions FTO rs9939609 polymorphism presents the higher risk of obesity in children in Guangdong.
