创新训练是机械制造工程训练课程体系的有机组成部分,是提高学生创新能力和工程实践能力的有效途径,开展竞赛活动是培养大学生创新能力的重要途径之一。针对机械类专业实习周期长的特点,提出在工程训练中开展“铁艺作品创新设计与制作”竞赛方案,并对竞赛项目的可行性、项目的设计与实施过程、项目的特色与效果进行描述和分析。结果表明,通过竞赛活动,学生学习的积极性、主动性得到提高,创新能力得到进一步拓展。

Innovation training is the organic part of the machine manufacturing and engineering training course system,and the effec-tive way of improving the students innovation ability and engineering practical ability. What’ more, the competition is an important ap-proach to cultivating the creativity of the university students. Concerning the long internship cycle of machinary majors, a competition proposal of innovative design and production on iron works is made and the feasibility, design and implementation, as wel as the features and effects of the competition program are explained and analyzed. The result shows that via the competition, the students' enthusiasm and initiative are improved and their innovation capacity is further expanded.
