随着WCDMA网络建设的不断发展,用户数、基站数激增,RNC的数量也随之不断增多,RNC的位置放置问题成为关注焦点。目前RNC大多集中放置于核心机房内,出于安全方面的考虑,近来有观点提出将RNC下沉于不同汇聚机房分散放置。就RNC放置位置进行了深入研究,首先建立RNC不同放置位置的模型,并从网络建设方案、投资、运营维护等各方面进行了详细深入分析,对比各自优劣,最后给出RNC位置放置的策略建议,为RNC的建设提供参考。

With the development of construction in WCDMA network, the number of users, BTS, and RNC increase. The problem on RNC location becomes focus. At present, most RNCs are placed in core network rooms. But recent view on locating RNCs dis-persedly in different aggregation rooms is proposed for security consideration. It studies the location of RNCs. Firstly it estab-lishes two models of RNCs in different position. Then it analyzes the network construction, investment, operation and mainte-nance of the different models, by comparing their pros and cons. Final y it supplies the applying suggestion on strategies of RNCs location, and provides a useful reference for RNC construction.
