对比“五普”和“六普”中有关族际婚姻的数据，发现10年之间，55个少数民族族际婚姻的人口数上升了3.74％，但是平均每个民族的通婚民族个数下降了3％。多数少数民族通婚中的族际婚姻性别比有所上升，同时，族际通婚的少数民族女性户主率也都有所提升。造成以上现象的主要原因包括少数民族人口状况自身变动、人口流动加剧、教育水平提高以及城镇化水平提高等因素。

By comparing the data of the fifth census and sixth census related to inter-ethnic marriage, it is found that the population of inter -ethnic minority among the 55 minorities rises by 3.74% in 10 years, but the number of the average national ethnic intermarriage falls by 3%.The sex ratio of inter-eth-nic minority marriage increases slightly, at the same time, the ratio of households headed by women among the intermarriage minorities increases lightly as well.The main reasons leading to the above phenomenon in-clude change of minority demography, increased population mobility, improvement of the educational level and that of urbanization.
