This paper analyzed gas occurrence characteristics in 21302 face in composite coal seam with low permeability, discussed gas control technologies in coal mining area, upper corner of working face and mine-out area based on gas drainage system in 21302 face, and proposed gas control measures according to the gas control characteristics in order to ensure safe mining in working surface.
