This paper analyzed the low efficiency and high energy consumption causation of the traditional rod pumping machine,and compared the traditional beam pumping unit balance method. This paper achieved the root mean square torque balance method by MATLAB programming. This method could ensure the best running state of the pumping machine and achieve the purpose of energy saving.
