During the early period of the Republic of China, a special lithography image started to be popular and became an efifcient imagery media, for transferring information and ideas, widely used in commercial field. Based on the outstanding advantage of the technique of lithography to the Chinese traditional wooden block print, on manufacture, promotion, popularization and rich expression forms, etc., lithography had played a crucial role in the starting of China modern commercial arts and helped to form its early prosperity.
