融合ZigBee技术和WebGIS技术研发的城市公交运营监控系统,采用ZigBee无线自组网技术,实现对车载用ZigBee移动终端、电子公交站牌用ZigBee路由器和公交子网络末端用ZigBee协调器的硬件研发并组建城市公交运营监控感知网,实现对各公交车辆到站信息的实时定位采集与电子播报,为出行者提供乘车便利;以WebGIS技术为核心并集成Oracle数据库技术和GPRS无线通信技术研发的系统应用层,实现对各公交车辆的实时定位跟踪与监督调控以提高公交车辆的运营效率。系统的试运营,证明了ZigBee组网的高效性、数据传输的可靠性以及系统功能的实用性。

This paper applied the technologies of ZigBee wireless communication and Web Geographic Information System (WebGIS) to develop Urban Bus Transportation Monitoring System (UBTMS). The information acquisition net hardware of UBTMS consists of ZigBee mobile terminals for each bus, the ZigBee routers with electronic bus station boards for every bus station and the ZigBee coordinator for the end node of bus transportation sub-net. The system was developed using ZigBee technology to collect and broadcast timely bus running information for the conveniences of passengers. UBTMS software applied layer was developed by the key technology of WebGIS integrating Oracle and GPRS to realize real-time location tracking, monitoring, and regulation management for urban bus system and this can improve bus operational efficiency greatly. In the test operation, UBTMS showed the feasibility of ZigBee networking, effectiveness of data transmission and practicability of system functions.
