-beam blank continuous casting technology was reviewed in this paper. The key equipment and technology for H-beam blank continuous casting were introduced. The processing characteristics, the development process and current situation of H-beam blank continuous casting at home and abroad were summarized. The existing quality defects and its affecting factors for H-beam blank continuous casting were analyzed, and some suggestion methods were given to improve the quality of H-beam blank. This paper may provide reference for scientiifc studies and productions in H-beam blank continuous casting area.
