色素沉着绒毛结节性滑膜炎（PVNS）主要发生在青壮年，膝关节是主要的发病部位，疼痛、关节渗出是主要的临床症状，MRI 检查对诊断及治疗非常有帮助，最终确诊依赖病理诊断。滑膜切除术是主要的治疗方法，辅助治疗越来越受到重视。

Pigmented villonodular synovitis (PVNS) occurs mainly in young adults. The knee is the main localization and pain and/or joint effusion are the most frequent clinical symptoms. MRI is very useful for diagnosis and for planning the extent and the technique of synovectomy. Treatment is not standardized to date. Complete surgical removal of a localized form or total synovectomy is the first line of treatment. Complementary therapy, such as external radiotherapy, has been proposed but not validated.
