Vacuum toilet on one of China Satellite Maritime Tracking and Control Department’ ships has failed several times in the past period of time, while the scaling problem on pipe wall is serious and it is prone to clogging. This article describes the dredging process of the ship’s sewage vacuum collection pipe system and explains the reasons for scaling pipeline and dredging methods as well as the specific operational procedures. Lastly, the subsequent usage and maintenance recommendations are given.
