In this paper , according to the practical situation of the Qinglong hydropower station project , a simple cable crane has been designed , in order to solve the hoisting problems of equipments and materials during dam construction .By the application of the cable crane , not only the powerful guarantee for the project has been provided smoothly , but also the cost of the investment has been cut down .
