Process-based approach, proposed in the 1970s, emphasizes students-centeredness and the development of the students' thinking and creative abilities. This paper discussed the background, the theory and characteristics of process-based teaching method, and studied how to apply the theory to the teaching of International Business Correspondence with specific cases.
