近年来，英美影视剧各大字幕组都推出了自己的版本，受到观众普遍欢迎。然而为了迎合大众的口味，有译者对原文进行了本地化改写，引发了翻译风波。文章将基于勒菲弗尔提出的改写理论来探讨影视剧字幕汉译本地化改写的制约因素和质量控制问题，认为译者必须对源语和目标语进行适度调和。若对二者操纵过度，则会不可避免地影响观众对字幕本地化改写的接受程度。

Resent years have witnessed a variety of subtitle versions provided by translation lovers who have been favored by Chinese audience. As they seek to embrace the public, some of them rewrite source texts based on localization, sparking disputes among the translation community. This paper, therefore, works to apply rewriting theory coined by Lefevere as a way to explore the relationship between subtitle translation and its restrictive factors in the course of localization. It contends that good translators must change their strategics in terms of source language and target language. If they fail to balance these two aspects, it will make the translation unacceptable.
