分析广东省西北部山区中小河流特点及洪水灾害成因，针对存在的问题探讨了新时期下符合实际需求的中小河流治理理念，并提出了相应地典型治理措施，为广东省山区5市中小河流治理提供思路。

The characters and causes of flooding of middle and small mountain -rivers in the northwest of Guangdong province are analyzed in this paper .Dealing with the problems , the management concepts of middle and small mountain -rivers in line with the actual needs in the new period are discussed , and some typical control measures that suitable to the problems are proposed .All this work can provide new ideas for the management of middle and small rivers in five mountainous cities in Guangdong province .
