为了探究参加志愿活动对老年人主观幸福感是否有影响以及有何影响,结合2013年北京市西城区老年人调查数据,首先对志愿活动参与和老年人的主观幸福感进行单变量分析,发现志愿活动参与程度更高的老年人主观幸福感更高;但通过进一步的一般有序Logistic回归分析发现,经常参加志愿活动的老年人主观幸福感并不会提高,反而会下降,这与我们通常的认识形成鲜明的对比;随后对这种矛盾现象进行了尝试性的解释.研究认为,老年人参加志愿活动并非越多越好,恰当的家庭支持和社区服务应该及时配给,以提高老年人的主观幸福感和生活质量.

To verify whether participating in volunteering activities can influence the SWB of the elderly, it analyzes the relationship of the volunteering participation in activities and the SWB of the elderly based on the elderly survey data in Xicheng District Beijing in 2013, and finds out that the elderly who participate in volunteering activities have a higher SWB than others. But the result of the general ordinal Logistic regression concludes that the elderly who participate in volunteering activities more often have a lower SWB instead, which is contrary to our general cognition. This paper tries to provide a tentative explanation of this paradox. In conclusion, participating in more volunteering activities does not mean a better SWB. Appropriate supporting from family and community service should be provided to improve the SWB and QoL for the elderly.
