This article introduced the technology that medium section continuous casting billet was rolled as high quality wire rod with heating just once. It analyzed the characteristics of the process layout, selecting the section of continuous casting billet, cogging pass system and the economy. This design for production is flexible and convenient, suitable for many varieties and specifications of large size wire production.
