This paper introduces the three elements of ESA theory and different combination modes, and "obesity" lesson, for example, the analysis of the three elements of the ESA theory in nursing students' flexible application in the design of classroom teaching activities. Finally the author thinks that the ESA theory to promote the development of nursing college students' English comprehensive ability provides an effective and feasible way and mode.
