This article describes the current technology level of 3D printing in data colection, 3D data processing and 3D printing, speciifcaly takes its oral implantology application for example. The impact of 3D printing technology to the dental industry was discussed in many aspects which were the industrialization process, oral clinical management, oral health personalization and convenient, and the change of the traditional dentures industry. Meanwhile, the botlenecks of 3D printing were considered deeply in the oral implanting application, which included materials, corolary equipment, international common standards, intelectual property rights and other aspects.
