    In this paper, starting from the structural adjustment of the major development of higher education insti-tutions, the background of major exit of higher education institutions is analyzed, the internal reasons of major exit are discussed, and the countermeasures to avoid major exit are put forward, as a reference for the related higher edu-cation institutions.
