从教育学的角度审视"教师"这一人类职业而形成的观念可以称为"师道观",对此,自古以来,中西方的教育学家都给出了深刻的认识.比较教育学认为,比较不是简单的两两比对,而是找出差异中的联系.韩愈认为"师者,所以传道、授业、解惑也";但是,随着全球化、教育现代化对中国的影响,中国的教育也必须走向世界.西方国家对于教师职业的新认识,也可以和我们中国的传统师道观互相融合,为新世纪我们重新认识教师角色提供更加丰富和有益的视角.
