某电石厂在其传统内燃式电石炉生产电石工艺的基础上提出了电石清洁生产新工艺。对此新工艺进行了较为详细的研究并与传统工艺进行了对比，发现新工艺省去了繁杂的煅烧石灰过程，不仅使生产成本降低，还简化操作与维护；实际情况中掺入30%复合球团新原料生产1 t标准电石比原生产工艺节省标准煤约6.2 kg，节约用电约54 kW·h，节约石灰石150 kg。
