The differences in text feature, purpose of translation and reader between literary translation and scientific and technical translation lead to the differences in translation standard and strategy. Analyzing the different emphasis of literary translation and scientific and technical translation in terms of“feeling expressing”and“meaning conveying”theoretically and practically and probing into the difference and connection of these two translation categories with examples are meaningful to high-quality transla?tion works.
