In causes that lead to mountain highway traffic accident,vehicle speed occupies a big propor-tion.Taking mountain road vehicle speed as research project,combining with living examples of vehi-cle speed,the paper established the model to analyze the safety of mountain highway alignment and put forward corresponding measures to unfavorable alignment sections,which may providing new the-oretical method and guiding basis for mountain highway alignment design,highway safety analysis and evaluation as well as improvement of mountain highway traffic safety.
