This paper analyze private economy in Shanxi Province in the province's economic and social development in an important role and gap with the developed areas, pointed out that in our country to enter the new economic norm, the cen-tral comprehensive deepening of reform background, in the development of private economy in Shanxi Province to achieve new breakthroughs, should be started from the aspects of the implementation of the policy, decentralization, finance innova-tion, service guarantee, deepen the reform, get rid of the non-public economic development and institutional obstacles, and create a fair competition, general business environment as well.
