This article introduced the necessity of installing anti-collision equipment within navigation opening bridge,together with principle and mechanism of installation of anti-collision equipment,in the context of an actual project of north branch bridge of Wuhan Tianxingzhou Yangtze River Bridge. It also introduced and analyzed the computation principle and method of ship collision force applied to piers,with a detailed presentation of anti-collision equipment applied to the project referred above.
