本文主要通过对历代思想家对“孝”的阐述做必要的梳理，认为孝道有四个不同的层次，第一，赡养父母；第二，行为得当；第三，遵守公共道德；第四，扬名显亲。本文也分析了“忠”和“孝”的关系，对孝道文化在今天将如何继续发挥作用作了探讨。

The paper explained the necessarily Moral behavior though all the historical thinkers , who believes that Xiao Dao has four different levels,first, raising the parents;second, behavior suitably,third, to obey the public deeds ;fourth, to become famous and show respect for the kin and spread their names. The paper analyzes the relationship between “loyal”and “Xiao(filial piety)”, it discussed the filial piety culture in today’s society and also how it influences others.
