城市群培育，是打破城市空间界限、重构区域优势、推动区域竞合发展的有效途径，正日趋成为一些发展中国家及地区实现跨越式发展的必然选择。江西城市群的培育起步较晚，存在空间结构不合理、集群辐射能力不足、城市功能及产业趋同、基本公共服务分割等问题。因此，借助主成分分析法，对江西7个城市(镇)群的培育潜力进行测算和排序，再运用聚类分析法，基于地区差异性划分出城市群培育的层次，以此为基础提出了“两群并发、三带联动、五群蓄势”的城市群培育空间格局和四条针对性的对策建议，对于培育壮大江西城市群具有重要的现实意义。

Urban agglomerations′cultivating,is an effective way of breaking the boundaries of urban space,reconstructing region advantages,promoting regional development,and now it has increasingly become some developing countries and regions′inevitable choice to achieve economic development by leaps and bounds. Jiangxi urban agglomeration started late,there exist some problems such as irra-tional spatial structure, lack of cluster radiation, urban functions and industry convergence, basic public services division and so on. Therefore,using principal component analysis to measure and sort the cultivating potentiality of 7 urban agglomerations,then using cluster analysis to devide the urban agglomerations into several levels basing on regional differences,as a basis for proposing urban ag-glomerations foster spatial pattern named "concurrent two groups, three with linkage, five groups ready" and four targeted suggestions,is of important practical significance for improving the growth of Jiangxi urban agglomerations.
