针对单站定位理论模型对方位角的测量精度要求较高，现有测量技术很难达到，提出从改进观测角误差着手，建立目标观测角函数优化模型。利用函数拟合和卡尔曼滤波算法对观测值进行预处理，有效的减小观测系统误差对定位的影响。仿真结果表明该模型具有较好的收敛性，在方位估算精度为0.5°时，被动定位能与主动方式媲美。该结果对水下运动目标被动定位的研究具有重要的参考价值。
