吴汝纶虽被誉为桐城派的末代宗师,但与桐城派的方苞、姚鼐等推崇“文以载道”的古文创作思想有很大的不同。就吴氏提倡“重文轻理”的古文创作思想及其成因展开讨论,以期廓清桐城派文脉传承之变异之一面。

오여륜수피예위동성파적말대종사,단여동성파적방포、요내등추숭“문이재도”적고문창작사상유흔대적불동。취오씨제창“중문경리”적고문창작사상급기성인전개토론,이기곽청동성파문맥전승지변이지일면。
Though Wu Rulun was regarded as the last master of Tongcheng School,his thought is very different from Fang Bao and Yao Nai's "writings are for conveying truth".This article is to discuss Wu"value literature and neglect neo-confucianism" of ancient prose creation and its reasons,in order to clear the Tongcheng School context inheritance variation of one side.
