The winch clutch, which was used for the immersed tube installation vessel of Hongkong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, is a rectangle hydraulic jaw type winch clutch. It is running in harsh environments such as wet and corrosion condition on the sea in a long-term, so it will be difficult to be removed, we should check and maintain it in a timely manner. According to the structure principle of hydraulic jaw type winch clutch, we described the methods for improvement, maintenance and trouble shooting, which can ensure the reliability, stability and security of the winch.
