油画民族化,不仅要求中国的油画家要掌握西方的油画技巧,而且要经过消化变成中国民族自己的,使油画有属于本民族的“精气神”,这是中国油画家的最高追求。1976-2015的40年间,是中国油画走向多元并富有个性的时期,也是油画民族化探索的关键时期。从社会环境上说,中国近40年来的油画创作已经摆脱为政治、政策服务的工具时期,开始真正自由学习和自主表达。

The nationalization of oil painting requires the painter not only to grasp the western oil painting skill but also be able to transmit national spirit in their paintings. This is the highest pursuit of Chinese oil painters. From 1976 to 2015, great changes have taken place in the field of Chinese oil painting, leading to its diversity and unique personality. This is also a great period for Chinese oil painting to get nationalized. From the perspective of social environment, Chinese oil painting in the last 40 years has already outgrown a political tool and begun to enjoy freedom and independent expressions.
