缺铁性贫血是当前发病率最高的营养素缺乏病之一,补充足量的铁是防治缺铁性贫血最根本的方法。因此,高生物利用度的铁营养强化剂一直是人们研究的热点。目前广泛使用的铁补充剂分为无机铁和有机铁两类。无机铁的代表是硫酸亚铁,其补铁效果虽好,但具有明显的副作用,如胃肠道刺激、口腔异味以及铁中毒等。研究表明,多糖铁复合物作为一种有机铁化合物,对胃肠道刺激小、生物利用度高,是目前比较有效的缺铁性贫血的补铁剂,因此受到越来越广泛的关注。本文围绕多糖铁复合物的制备方法、铁含量测定方法、结构分析、理化性质、吸收性质和临床应用方面展开综述。多糖铁复合物的结构确证和安全性、多糖的结构和种类对多糖铁复合物有效性的影响以及如何进一步提高多糖铁复合物的有效性需要做进一步的研究。

Iron deficiency anemia (IDA) is one of the highest incidence of nutrient deficiency diseases, and the most basic method to prevent iron deficiency anemia is to take enough iron. Therefore, high biological utilization of iron fortifiers has always been the focus of study. At present, the popular iron supplements include two types, inorganic iron and organic iron. Ferrous sulfate is the representative of inorganic iron. Although it is an effective iron supplement, it has a lot of side effects, such as gastrointestinal irritation, oral odor and iron poisoning, etc. Many research showed that the polysaccharide-iron complex, as a kind of organic iron compound, with high bioavailability but little gastrointestinal irritation, is a kind of more effective iron supplement to prevent iron deficiency anemia, so it has been attracting more and more attention. This article mainly discussed the preparation methods of polysaccharide-iron complex, the determination methods of iron content, structural analysis, physical and chemical properties, absorption properties and its clinical applications. In addition, the influence of polysaccharide’s type and structure on the efficacy, the structure confirmation and safety of polysaccharide-iron compound, as well as how to improve the efficacy of polysaccharide-iron compound need further research.
