烧山火和透天凉为针刺的复式补泻手法，能够使被针刺者产生热感和凉感。但本手法由来已久，且各代医家对其论述不尽相同，操作更是纷繁错杂，使今人尤其是初学者如堕五里雾中，茫然不知其意。该文通过简单梳理烧山火和透天凉手法源流，分析其操作，求同存异，客观论述两种手法的操作要领，冀以略窥金针一二，帮助初涉针灸之人更好地理解此二种复合手法。
