Shandong Coalifeld Geology Machinery Factory’s products are based on mechanical rigs. To meet the deve loping need of the market and customers, in 2014, after concluding the advantages and disadvantages of various of de rricks in and out China, I developed hydraumatic direction A-type derricks , which got the ifrst scientiifc prize of Sha ndong Coalifeld Geology Bureau. The paper is to explain the structure of the derricks , the design and application of h ydraulic system and ,taking the ZT13AY derrick as an example.
