建筑自然通风降温潜力评价是建筑节能设计及开窗行为节能的关键性基础问题。本文以建筑是否运行自然通风策略情况下的基础室温差别为基础，提出“相对自然通风降温潜力RNVCP”评价指标。采用FluentAirpak和DeST软件分别计算风压系数和基础室温，对案例建筑进行自然通风降温潜力评价。RNVCP评价指标的有效性在以下三方面得到验证：RNVCP与当地气候特性的一致性分析；RNVCP与风压系数的一致性分析；RNVCP与NVCP评价结果比较分析。
