教学实习船属于特种船舶,以培训学员使其具有职业航海技能和实际航海经验为目的。一般设有双层自动化驾驶室:训练驾驶室供学员训练和模拟操作使用;主驾驶室负责正常的航行驾驶。除保持船舶正常运营的最低配员外,教学实习船将承载较多的实习人员,一般承载人员总额近200人左右。由于承载人员众多,脱险通道的布置与乘员撤离的考虑与普通货船相比具有很多特殊之处,因此需要进行专门的模拟分析计算,以满足规则中对乘员安全撤离的要求。

Training ship is a special vessel for training personnel to obtain professional seafaring skills and practical marine experience. It is generally built with double automatic bridges, the training bridge for training and simulative operation and the main bridge for normal driving. Training ship will carry many trainees besides a minimum of crew as required by the Administration, generally about 200 personnel in total and it means the arrangement of escape and evacuation for training ship is different from a cargo ship. This paper calculates the width of escape routes and the evacuation time by specialized simulation analysis in order to satisfy the requirements of safety evacuation in the SPS Code.
