The design of 5 V/1.2 A isolated flyback switching power supply based on UCC28910 is introduced. Its circuit structure is simple and fewer external components are required,which reduces the area occupied by PCB effectively. The power supply can accepts a wide range voltage input of 85 VAC to 265 VAC. The constant voltage and current output was realized without any opto-coupler. This device has characteristics of 700 V high-voltage start and less than 30 mW standby power loss. DCM mode is used to reduce the switching loss,which is consistent with the standard of Energy Star EPS2.0.
